What designer doesn’t want to work on branding and packaging design? It’s every college design students dream job. It’s what our college professors told us we’d all be doing when we graduated. So imagine my surprise when my first job out of college was doing production design for a t-shirt company.
When the opportunity finally came to design a brand logo for a local restaurant I felt like my time had finally come. Well, I’m happy to say that the branding jobs kept coming and along with them came the package design jobs. I even had the honor of starting up an in-house package design team - not once but twice.
Here are some of my favorite designs from over the years. I’ve even included two cases studies. I hope you enjoy them.
Key clients have included PetSmart, Royal Canin, Mrs. Dash, ConAgra, Sara Lee and Jarden Home Brands.
Whether it’s called digital, interactive, mobile or web based…I’ve had the pleasure of leading the design and development for all of them. Key clients have included Walmart, Frito Lay, McDonald’s, Sam’s Club, Sara Lee, Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farm, Ball Park Brand, State Fair Brand, Bernina, PetSmart, Jarden Home Brands and Royal Canin.

Having taken animation classes in college, I have always had an interest in what it would be like to, not only design for print, but take the next step and make my creative visions move and tell a story. So when the opportunity to establish a video team arose, I took it and set out on my journey to help bring my ideas to motion.
These are a selection of the different types of B2C and B2B videos that I have concepted, designed and creative directed.
Key clients have included Quaker, NBA, ConAgra, Sam’s Club, Ball Park Brand, State Fair Brand, and PetSmart.
Over the years I have had the honor of partnering with extremely talented photographers, stylists and art directors to create some fun, tasty and even furry photographs. This is an assortment of some of those collaborations.

This is where it all began. Starting with my big sister teaching me how to draw Donald Duck where it quickly moved into my trying to emulate the illustration style of comic book legend Jack Kirby. I have always had a strong passion for illustration. There’s just something extremely satisfying about bringing a thought in your head to a realization on paper.
While my skills have grown over the years, from cartoon to graphic to 3D, the one thing that hasn’t changed is my complete enjoyment for carving away some time to draw something fun that makes people smile.
Key clients have included Frito Lay, McDonald’s, USPS, Visa, Rold Gold, Pepsi, Quaker, Tropicana, Jelly Belly and Jarden Home Brands.

I started my career designing merchandising displays for Frito-Lay and Pepsi. If you said that I got “very passionate” building eye-catching structures that make shoppers stop and look…you’d be correct. For a while there I had designed so many Back-to-School bus displays (for Kellogg’s Keebler, Nintendo, Pepsi and Frito-Lay) that I was given the nickname of “Bus Master”.
Key clients have included PetSmart, Kellogg’s, Keebler, NBC Universal, ConAgra, Jelly Belly, Frito Lay, Pepsi, Weber Seasonings, Royal Canin, Bernina, Sara Lee, Walmart and Sam’s Club.
Whether it’s grabbing a shopper’s limited attention in a supermarket or trying to jump out of their phone via an email, I have been reaching out to shoppers and consumers alike for most of my career. I understand that a shopper’s mindstate varies deadening on the device their engaging with, the location they are in, and even the time of day. While a lot of my shopper experience examples are shown throughout this site as part of bigger programs, these are a collection of some of the smaller programs I deigned or creative directed.
Key clients have included M&M, Walmart, Sam’s Club, National Geographic, Corona, Frito Lay, BeechNut, Weber Seasonings, Jarden Home Brands, Pepsi, Royal Canin, Bernina and Sara Lee.
This is just a sampling of a few experiential events that I have creative directed in the past few years. Two case studies have been provided.
Key clients have included Walmart, Sam’s Club, Albertson’s, BJ’s, Sour Punch, Ball Park Brand and Royal Canin.
Getting the chance to work on a new product launch is like being asked to hold a baby for the first time. You’re honored and excited the parents trust you, but you really hope the baby doesn’t start screaming while you’re holding it.
Joking aside, it’s extremely exciting to be a part of launching a new brand or product out into the world.
Key clients have included Royal Canin, Weber Seasonings, Jarden Home Brands, PetSmart, Sara Lee, Kellogg’s and Mrs. Dash.
Some of the most fun I’ve had over the years has been to create and design custom trade show experiences and work spaces. Here are a few of my favorite projects with a Royal Canin case study.
Key clients have included Royal Canin, PetSmart, Sara Lee, Bernina, ConAgra, ACH Food Companies and Kellogg’s.
